BMG visits the newly refurbished Lloyd’s Illinois office
BMG was delighted to be invited to the 6th October launch of the sleekly refurbished environment that was recently unveiled by Lloyd’s of Illinois in Chicago. Neal James-Crook flew in from our London office whilst Jeff Nelson, head of BMG’s American operation, made the journey north from Texas to the party hosted by Lloyd’s US President Hank Watkins. Also conspicuous by his presence, and pictured between Jeff and Neal, was Lloyd’s of London CEO Richard Ward.
The transformed Lloyd’s office has a totally contemporary open-plan feel that brings it into line with other Lloyd’s offices worldwide. Lloyd’s has been in Illinois for over 80 years and whilst BMG cannot claim to have been placing business there that long it has established a solid track record over the past five years.
In total more than 200 insurance professionals turned out to see the new premises and were duly impressed by the state of the art IT provision and conference facilities. Watch this space as the new Illinois office sets out to become the central services hub for Lloyd’s in the Midwest.
